Paunvere Exhibition and Fair is one of Palamuse&#8217;s best-known autumn events, organised by J\u00f5geva Kultuur. The fairground streets are named after the characters and places of Oskar Luts&#8217;s novel \u00abKevade\u00bb (Spring) \u2014 Maakera, V\u00e4ike-Tootsi, Oskari v\u00e4ljak, Uue-Kooli, Imeliku staadioni, Arno allee, Paunvere aas, Teele puiestee, K\u00f6stri p\u00f5ik and Lutsu-Uus \u2014 which gives the fair its own literary flavour.
