The Great Paunvere Exhibition and Fair 2026

Palamuse · Jõgeva County

19 September 2026

The old stone tower stands quietly over Palamuse’s sky until, one September morning, a brass band wakes it up — and then it all begins: over a thousand market stalls, the smell of food, handicrafts, live animals and a cutest-pet contest, all at once. Our tent takes its place among the crowd once again, carrying the colours and scents of West Africa into the heart of an Estonian autumn. Come find us if your steps lead to Palamuse!

What is the Paunvere Exhibition and Fair?

The Great Paunvere Exhibition and Fair in Palamuse is one of Estonia’s largest autumn folk events — now in its 27th year — with a strong focus on domestic and organic produce, especially from the Palamuse area. The fairground hosts over 1,000 vendor stalls, and up to twenty thousand visitors are expected in Palamuse, making it one of Estonia’s biggest one-day trade events. The programme includes a rich cultural line-up, an animal exhibition, a cutest-pet contest, and a big fair lottery with a robotic lawnmower as the grand prize. More than just a market — it’s a heritage festival celebrating community spirit and the history of rural Estonia.
